Fun Monday, I made it myself, and you can do it too!

This week's Fun Monday is hosted by Karisma.

The topic for Fun Monday this week is......

I MADE IT MYSELF!

I think the title pretty much says it all,
but for those of you who may still be wondering,
I would like to see or hear about things you have made
with your own two hands (or feet, Im not fussy!)
We all have different talents and abilities,
maybe you like to sew or knit, chisel or sculpt, draw or paint?
Whatever your talent is, please share it with us this week.

Da Rules.....

Well there are not any really!
But you know, we all know that you made your kids so lets NOT choose them this time.
(After all you did not make them with your hands or feet did you?)

And for those of you who are freaking out because
you make "everything" with your hands,
how about you just choose a few of your favourites!)

Those of you who are freaking out because
"You never make things with your hands".
Get off your lazy butt and make something!
You have four days.....now get to it!
(You could always bake a cake!) The possibilities are endless!

There are so many things I made myself in this house,
and I could make an endless post summing them all up.
I've already done a post on making lace once.
I have a collection of teddy bears, some of them I made myself.
If you want to see those, just click on the links, and have a look at those posts too.
The one on the lace making is very interesting, I think.

But for todays Fun Monday, I picked one item, it's a bird feeding wreath.
I make one every fall, it adds some colour on my patio when winter arrives.

This is the one I made this year,

and I made this one the previous year.
It's fun to watch the birds feasting on it!
We are in summer season here now, but for those of you
in Australia or other parts of the world approaching winter,
here's how you do it.

What you need is a wreath, and all things natural and edible for birds.

I always add the biggest items first.

Fill the gaps with the smaller things.
It's always nice to include some nesting materials too,
the birds use it when spring arrives.

Put it ouside, and enjoy...
