Sky watch Friday Electricity

Remember the reflection of the angel in last Saturdays Photo Hunt picture?
Here she is in all her glory.
She's one of the statues you'll see on top of the houses if you visit Antwerp.
I thought she would make a great Sky Watch picture.
I'll show you more pictures of Antwerp in next Sundays Weekly Winners.

Click on this link or the Sky Watch button
to see beautiful skies from around the world.

But then I feel it move me
Like a burning deep inside
Something bursting me wide open
Impossible to hide
And suddenly I'm flying
Flying like a bird
Like Electricity, electricity
Sparks inside of me
And I'm free, I'm free

Electricity sparks inside of me
And I'm free, I'm free
Oh, I'm free

(Lyrics by Elton John.)

Sktwatch Friday, I've Seen the Clouds from Both Sides now ...

It is not everyday you get to do a Skywatch from a board an airplane,
at least for not me. These were taken on the flight to Lissabon last week.

A beautifull sunrise and the clouds seen "from the other side",

and a wonderful sunset when we came back a couple of days later.

Sky Watch Friday Thunder Storm

We had a pretty severe thunderstorm here this week ...

Before the thunderstorm ...
You can see how heavy the wind was blowing if you look at the trees!

And when it stopped raining ten minutes later or so,
I saw this stunning orange and silver sunset ...

Again maybe half an hour later, the grand finale ...
All of these in the course of an hour!

I'm not in the country at the moment,
so I won't be able to join Sky Watch Friday for real,
but I still wanted to post these anyway.
We don't get skies like this much around here,
so I was thrilled to be able to capture these.

Sky Watch Friday Kiss and Make Up

This is my first Sky Watch Friday.

I was working in my study last night, um... blogging I mean,
when I saw those pink streaks in the sky.
I grabbed my camera and went outside to catch this pretty pink sky,
and the view from my patio, the "skyline" of the village where I live.
It had been raining severely all day,
and I think this was a "kiss and make up"
surprise gift from the weather gods ...

You can see Sky Watches from all over the world here.
