For todays Project Blue post,
I wanted to try something.
I have been looking for blue everywhere too,
as is everyone else in this project,
but the rain has been pouring down here all day,
so it's really not a good day to go outside for some new pictures.
I saw my husbands blue ties this morning,
and thought I could maybe try something with those.
Too boring ...
What could be more boring then a tie?
Six of them maybe ?
Different angle, ... hmmm ...
Let's try something else ...
Nope ... still not right.
I think I like this one best?
Let's try again now, shall we?

I had my fun for today.
Now let's visit the others for a change,
let's see what they've got!
For a Wordless, you need a picture that tells a story, I think.

Oh well, better late than never ...
The only word I want to add here is "lost".
(In case you're wondering, they're street actors, they were not really lost!)

I love Anna Carson's photography projects,
and Project Blue is one of my favourites,
because I happen to like that colour very much.
But Project from the ground up is a challenge to me too,
so please forgive me,
I'm multitasking I know, but I can't resist!
I felt a little bit guilty because I uploaded pictures from my archives yesterday,
so I decided to have a go at it today, and have some fun with my camera!
This was my first shot, at noon today.
I had to go to work today, but when I saw it tonight,
I was not yet completely satisfied.
So I had another go at it.
I think I'll let you decide, wich one is better.
While I made the previous one,
I saw the reflection of the seagulls in the mirror,
and tried to capture those as well.
Hmm, I kind of like this image,
but the hole in the wall annoys me.
Maybe from another angle, I can avoid this as well?
Hang on, I'll try to capture it sitting in the bath?
Sitting in the bath is no option, that's not the right angle.
This one is the right angle,
only now the reflection of the light on the ceiling bothers me.
Let me try and make one in the dark ...
Twenty two pictures later ...
Hmmm, I think I like the very first one best!
Yeah!
Definetely ...
Oh well, at least I tried ...

Well there are not any really!
But you know, we all know that you made your kids so lets NOT choose them this time.
(After all you did not make them with your hands or feet did you?)
And for those of you who are freaking out because
you make "everything" with your hands,
how about you just choose a few of your favourites!)
Those of you who are freaking out because
"You never make things with your hands".
Get off your lazy butt and make something!
You have four days.....now get to it!
(You could always bake a cake!) The possibilities are endless!
and I made this one the previous year.
I always add the biggest items first.
Fill the gaps with the smaller things.
Put it ouside, and enjoy...
My friend Annie and I love to cook.
Three or four times a year we get together,
pick some nice recipes ...
and spend an entire Sunday afternoon cooking together.
In her kitchen,
or in mine ...
This is my friend Annie and her husband.
Now let me invite you to the dinner party we had last Sunday.
Please be seated and enjoy...
Our three little appetizers ...
Sushi with an Italian twist of tomatoes and Mozzarella,
served with a basil dressing and North Sea shrimps.
Mousse of smoked eel.
And a cappucino of aspargus.
As a starter we serve you langoustines in a crispy jacket
on a salad of fresh spring vegetables.
I think my hubby likes it!
The main course is seabars with a Chamagne sauce, asparagus and a herb salad on top.
a good glass of wine of course ...
Good things never last long though ...
As for dessert, we have a dark chocolate cake topped with
a delicious chocolate mousse,
Mojito sorbet and rasperry coulis.
A day of wine and roses.
